Update - 9/30/09
Construction is moving right along, but our targeted moving date has been bumped a little (as normal with construction projects). We should be moving sometime in October, but we'll update the website when we are in our new location. The newest photo is shown to the right.

WIREDOG AND PROFESSIONAL NETWORKS – NEW LOCATION COMING SOON!
Galax, Virginia -- If you have traveled down the trucker’s route in Galax lately, you may have noticed a change in the old Virginia Well Drilling building. Construction is nearing completion at 307 Meadow Street – the new home of Professional Networks, Inc. and Wiredog Internet. After five years at their current location in Willow Place, Professional Networks will be relocating their offices as early as the first week in October (fingers crossed).
The property was purchased last year that included the old house on the corner, the large metal building and the cinderblock building. Most of the offices will be housed in the large, metal building that is undergoing remodeling at this time. The house will be torn down to accommodate ample parking for employees and customers. The new offices will hold more employees and allow for company expansion.
Professional Networks decided last year that it was time to own their own building after 10 years in business as the areas largest local technology solutions provider. They are well-known for Wiredog Internet service, computer networking, website design and office supplies. They serve thousands of Internet and business accounts in Southwest Virginia and Northwest North Carolina. Their cutting-edge technology also allows them to serve many clients all over the United States and internationally as well.
John Ayers, owner of Professional Networks states, “The past eleven years have passed quickly. It’s hard to believe we are 25 employees strong. With our move comes even more stability and anchoring in the community. Our intention is to continue to provide technology solutions for local and far-reaching residents and business clients for many years to come.”
Tonya Reavis, the Web Department Manager also adds, “In this economic climate, updated technology is crucial to a business’ survival. Websites, in particular, are the most economical form of advertising. Our web portfolio ranges from informational and e-commerce websites to custom database solutions. We have been and will continue to provide custom, proven web solutions using our many years of experience to help the local economy prosper.”
